THE INITIATIVE’S VISION
The objective of Health Hub Tirol, an initiative of the State of Tyrol, is to promote innovation in the fields of life sciences, medical technology, e-health, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology and to further enhance Tyrol’s profile as an internationally recognised healthcare industry location boasting many successful companies. The initiative aims to facilitate not only the founding of life science companies in Tyrol, but also to encourage businesses to locate here and/or to establish and develop their business model in the region.

Infrastructure

Framework conditions must be right: this is especially true for life science companies. Office space, laboratories, workshops, common areas, meeting rooms and sanitary facilities are neither a luxury nor a must – but simply a matter course at Health Hub Tirol. We are in the process of creating a state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Funding programme

Research and development are the basic building blocks of every innovation. Health Hub Tirol supports resident companies by providing access to its own funding programme. This reduces the entrepreneurial risk of innovation projects and ensures that the best ideas don’t end up on the shelf.

Services

Companies located in Health Hub Tirol benefit from various services that support them in achieving optimal development. These include, among others, funding support, financing advice, coaching in the development of business models and support in the search for (international) cooperation and technology partners.

Capital

In addition to Health Hub Tirol’s funding programme, participating companies have direct access to an international life sciences fund and other investors from the Investorennetzwerk Tirol. This makes it even easier to find the ideal financing solution and results in both parties profiting from the acceleration of the company’s development.
